Debug Menu

Hmmm...
To do:
It behaves differently on the Challenge Mode menus and glitchily on the Scenario Mode menus if the debug menu is activated on the e-Reader map when the game has e-Reader stuff activated: 1 (loads the digging minigame - the others crash), 2, 3, 4. translation
Hmmm...
To do:
LuigiBlood: "In the japanese 1.0 version of Super Mario Advance 4

QUICKCK is not there
It was added later then Collect coins is actually a challenge that made it into the final game
After you're done beating all levels
some of the levels will have a gold coin block at the start

that block starts the Coin challenge

By setting memory address 0x03003774 (current scene) to 0x34, the screen will change to a debug menu. The memory address works in the Japan and USA versions of the game. None of the final menu options work properly, however. They all go to the "Mario Start" screen then the game crashes due to jumping to an invalid address.

This appears to be a debug menu for an unused challenge mode or early minigames.

It isn't clear what "scenario mode" is meant to be. The number can be increased/decreased from 0x01 to 0x80 by pressing up/down on the d-pad and pressing left/right on the d-pad can change the switch the bottom text between "S-N", "TEST" and "QUICKCK" (the latter presumably meaning "quick check").
